The Real Vacation Begins...

I have SO much to catch up on. Last Friday we headed to Galveston because I had a wedding to shoot there Saturday. While I was shooting the wedding Eric and Kim met my parents in San Antonio to drop off the kids. Then Sunday Eric, Kim, Chrys, Jenn and I flew to Vegas. So, I will start will Galveston and go from there.

Friday we drove to Galveston. It took us almost the entire day but we got there around 6, and checked into our hotel room. We went up and put the kids in their swim suits so we could take them down to the beach. They loved it, at first. Mason immediately ran straight into the water. They fell down every time a wave came in, so eventually they started running from them. Towards the end Mason got some water in his eyes and mouth and was scared of it from then on out. After we washed them off we went to one of our favorite places to eat in Galveston - The Spot. Mason and Sawyer split a half pound burger, fries, onion rings and fruit. They have never eaten so unhealthy!!

Saturday we hung out until it was time for me to start my coverage for the wedding. Kim and Eric headed to San Antonio and met my parents, then drove to Austin to get hotel rooms. Jen, Chrys and I drove to Austin after the wedding around 11:30. It was a long day. The next post will be about Vegas!
