Christmas Day

The kids are spoiled rotten. I think they were a little overwhelmed by all of the toys. We had a great Christmas though. It was fun to watch the kids play with their new toys and their grandparents, and great to just hang out with family for a few days.

Christmas Eve

This morning we woke up to a ton of snow falling! Eric worked last night and said it started around 3. It seriously looked like a blizzard. It snowed until mid afternoon and it is beautiful! We are really getting to have a white Christmas. It has messed up Aunt Jaffy getting to drive home though :(

We headed over to my inlaws house for our extended family Christmas lunch. The kids each got to open one of their presents and got a train and baby doll.

Then since Papa knows Santa he came to the house for pictures! I have been telling them about this and talking about Santa a lot in preparation. They say ho ho ho Merry Christmas and we even went by the mall to look at Santa from a distance to start warming up to him. But it didn't work. They did NOT want to sit in his lap. After he was there for a while and got out a toy they finally started talking to him and standing next to him though.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have a great day tomorrow!

We have been getting ready for Christmas around here. I tried to get a picture of the kids together in their Christmas outfits, but that didn't go so well. At least I got cute individuals!

We had a Christmas cookie decorating party with the Groves. Emma and London are so good with the kids. They showed them how to decorate cookies and then Mason and Sawyer ate them all!

Is 5 kids too many for one tub?

Sawyer might have a boyfriend already...

I am so excited that Christmas is almost here! I have gotten almost all of my Christmas shopping done, which is nice. We have a Christmas party to go to this week, other Christmas plans and I have a wedding this weekend, so I know things are going to be busy. Here are some pictures from the last week or so of what we have been doing.

Above: Mason started stacking his cheerios on his bananas like this the other day.

ABOVE: Sawyer makes this face all the time!

This past week I got a call from Kid's Village to tell me that I won a train table (and all the pieces that go on top) in the drawing that I entered on Black Friday! I was so surprised because I had been wanting to get Mason one once he got a little older. They can be so expensive though! I don't think the kids will be able to walk in their room after Christmas, it will be so full of toys.

Sawyer has been having lots of tea parties with her babies (and Stitch) lately and I think it so cute!

I got to spend yesterday with my two best friends. Lauren and I both drove out to Dallas to visit Rachael and see Micah for the first time. It was so much fun to see them! It makes me miss them even more though. Chrys and Kim were sweet enough to keep the kids for me so I could actually spend time talking and taking pictures of Micah.

This is one of the sweet pictures I got of Micah-

Winter is definitely here. The high has been in the 30's a couple days and has given me a nice break and time to catch up with work. Here are the kids in their coats today-

This post is going to be so long because I have not had time to update lately. I feel like I won't have time to relax and I won't get caught up with work until January at least!

The weekend before Thanksgiving my friend Robin got married in the metroplex. I took pictures for her and also got see some of my friends from college. It was so nice to see everyone that was there!

The next day Rachael was induced and had Micah. I still haven't met him, but I am driving out there next weekend to see them.

My parents came into town to help out while I was out of town for the wedding and stayed through Thanksgiving. They got lots of time playing with the kids and spoiling them. They got the kids a table to play at and eventually eat at, and some fun Christmas presents.

My dad also took some family pictures for us while they were in town. Here are some cute ones he got:

The kids favorite thing to do right now is play ring around the rosy. They drag each other around the house holding hands all the time. They also convince grandparents to play pretty often.

Aunt Gaffy was also here and we really enjoyed getting to see her.

And all of the other family.

We had a play date with their cousin Chloe and ended up on the news I hear.

Thanks to the grandmothers we also got a tree up.

hanging the first ornaments..

I also have the stockings hung, have watched Home Alone a couple of times and have wrapped some presents. I am excited about Christmas this year, but am also ready for the Holiday rush to be over so I can enjoy it more! I can't wait to see the kids open their presents this year. They are going to have so much fun. I LOVE Christmas!
