"I am confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Psalm 27:13-14 NIV
It was a long journey to get here. But God is amazing, and today we have 2 one year olds. We have two beautiful, smart and fun kids. We are so blessed. It is a little bit sad and a lot exciting. I am sad that they aren't babies anymore. That I might not get to have another baby in the house again. But I am more excited to see what will come in the future. I can't wait to see what they will do, what they will learn. I can't wait to see them play sports and perform in programs. I can't wait to see them grow and to see all they will accomplish. And more than anything I can't wait to see them come to know the Lord. We have such an exciting future ahead of us.
I can't believe they were once so tiny. It was really incredible. They had teeny tiny heads, skinny little legs, and they were swimming in their clothes. It's weird to think that they used to stay where I put them, that their cries were so quiet, and that they used to just sleep all the time between feedings. Now they are only taking one nap a day and they are walking around everywhere. They are giving kisses, throwing fits, giving high fives, talking and playing all the time.
Sawyer loves to lift up our shirts and poke our belly button, she will give me a kiss on the cheek when I ask (more a lick than anything), she still walks on her tip toes and still only has 3 teeth on bottom. Mason is such a happy boy. He laughs so easily and is so ticklish, he also throws the biggest fits when he doesn't get his way, he gives high fives, and is such a boy! They are both walking everywhere now and are starting to run a little bit. It is definitely a fun age and we are enjoying every minute of it.
Here is a look back at the past year:

I saw this list on another twin moms blog and thought it was cute:
My favorite things about having twins:
10. Whenever I have a rough day, I take the twins out and hear, "I don't know how you do it."
9. I rarely feel bad about my parenting because there's usually one happy kid.
8. My husband and I never have to share "the" kid. With two, we get as much kid time as we want.
7. If I can't decide between two cute outfits, I buy them both.
6. Taking care of one kid feels ridiculously easy.
5. Most behavior (not showering, forgetting to call someone) can be explained by, "I have twins!"
4. "Can you change that poopy diaper? I'm busy with the other kid."
3. Double the hugs, kisses, and laughter.
Tied for first: Baby A (Mason) and Baby B (Sawyer)!
Happy Birthday Mason and Sawyer!!
