we are already loving Eric's new shift. we are loving not worrying about being quiet and hanging out with Daddy. i might not love it so much when he is working saturday, but at least it is during the day and we don't have to be quiet!
This week is bump day and Eric will be switching his schedule. He will be working weekends for the next year so we decided to go to Austin for his last weekend off. We didn't have much planned other than good food and a trip to toys r us. The kids love stuffed animals right now, so we thought we would take them and let them each pick one out.
Mason immediately ran for the giraffes and then picked up a gorilla as well. Sawyer found a kitty and then this bucket on wheels. She decided she needed a shopping cart and drug it around the store filling it with things she liked.
Sawyer's favorite isle was definitely the baby isle. And Mason loved the animal planet stuff. He found this really ugly pink dolphin that he really wanted.
I saw pictures of William in Georgetown on facebook and figured out that Lauren was at her mom's 10 minutes away! So we met up for lunch on Saturday.
Here are the kids in their new jamies they picked out with all of their new babies :) and a few old ones.
august is way too hot. check out these cute red faces. we are ready for fall please!
check out sawyer's shoes. anytime she puts on her own shoes she always puts them on the wrong feet. every single time. and she always wants to do it herself. if i try she says or screams, "no my do it" or "do it myself mommy."
Mason and Sawyer talk constantly right now. And I LOVE listening to them talk to each other. They have the cutest conversations. I usually listen to them a lot while I am in the bathroom getting ready/putting on make-up and they are in their room. I always hear stuff like, "Where mommy go bub? I don't know sis, let's go find her." "Do you hear mommy sis? Is that mommy? I don't bub let's go find her." Yesterday morning when I got up I blew my nose before I went in there to get them and Mason yelled, "be quiet mommy!"
The other day I was driving home and Mason says, "I want to go to Sea World!" And Sawyer said, "Not today bub, not today."
I need to try to record more conversations of theirs, but here is a video of them playing and a video of Sawyer trying to feed Mason while he is trying to get me to read a book.
Cracking each other up before bed. And yes that is Mason tooting at the end :)
We had a play date at the zoo yesterday and my friend was so sweet to take a picture of me with the kids.

A little bit of what we have been doing lately...
Lots and lots swimming like always. Sometimes twice a day. Mason has been doing lots of toe touches lately.
Mason also gets lots of time outs. For jumping on sissy, pushing sissy, bouncing on the diving board... he just gets so excited and can't help himself.
