Lauren and I decided when she moved that we should go on a road trip to visit our moms! So this last week we drove all over Texas. On Sunday I left Abilene, drove to Waco to pick her up and we continued on to her moms house in Georgetown. We stayed 3 nights in Georgetown and 3 nights in Kingsville. The trip was a little crazy at times, but a whole lot of fun. The best part of the driving was that my inlaws let us take their mini van!!! It was so awesome. The kids did great on the drives because they just watched the dvd player the whole time. You can tell they hardly ever watch tv because they are glued to it the entire time it is on. The van also has so much room. I might have to get one the next time we get a new car.

My kids both got a stomach bug while we were on the trip though. Mason threw up all evening Wednesday and Sawyer did all night Friday. I didn't get much sleep Friday night. They were also really fussy towards the end of the trip since they didn't feel good. William hasn't shown signs of picking up the bug yet though. One of our craziest times was lunch the second to last day. We stopped in San Antonio to eat on our way to Georgetown. By the time we left there were half eaten crayons, torn up napkins and child menus, food pieces everywhere, and a spilled glass of water. Our table looked crazy. The kids had been cooped up in the car and did not want to sit still to eat. We did lots of fun stuff though. We watched the entire season 5 of The Office, talked and laughed a ton, had photo shoots of the kids, ate a lot of great food, and did a bit of shopping. Here are the pictures in no particular order.
