The Expo and Park

This past week has been a normal week. It has been really warm here lately so we took the kids to the park the other day. They love swinging. I have been spending a lot of time preparing for the Bridal Extravaganza that was here in town. It was today and I am exhausted!! You have to get up there and set up (from 9 am to 1 pm), then the stuff is from 1-5 and then you have to tear down your whole booth!! My feet are killing me still! My friend Summer who is an amazing interior designer helped me decorate my booth. The difference in this year and last is HUGE!! Granted I had two 5 week olds last year, but still. I even got a haircut (it had been 6 months) and a pedicure (it had been at least a year) in preparation for the event! Here are some photos of the booth:

Operation Tadvickian Mongoose

For the last 6 months I have been working on a project to honor the doctor that delivered Mason and Sawyer. We finally finished it and had the reception honoring Dr. Tadvick tonight. It was so great!! Stephanie started talking to me about her idea for this back when I was pregnant. She wanted to get a couple of families together and take pictures of their kids that Dr. Tadvick had delivered. This is where I came in. She wanted me to take the pictures. So of coarse I agreed! Dr. Tadvick helped us so much through trying to get pregnant and being pregnant. He watched me so carefully and took great care of us. So what started off as, "I hope we can find 15 families," turned into 59 families. Which was 10 different days of photo mini sessions for me!! After I took all of the pictures I compiled a picture and a letter from each family into a coffee table book. It turned out great and I am so pleased with the final product.

The reception tonight was also a huge success. Dr. Tadvick had no clue that it was all for him. He thought that he was coming to a Peru fundraiser for Stephanie and Lee. When he got there one of the first things he said to his wife was, "I think I delivered nearly every baby in this room." Ha! He was so shocked and it was so much fun to watch his face as they told him that the entire party was to honor him!

It is all done now though and I have posted a website for all of the participats to view the book and video from tonight: OTM Website.

Valentines Day

We had a great Valentines Day. Saturday was also my birthday so Eric and I went out on a date. We went over to Kim and Chrys house for cake, 42 and to drop of the kids. Then we went and saw New in Town and ate at Bonsai. I love Japanese and Chinese food and could eat at Bonsai, Fuji and Schezuan every day. But I only get to on special occasions. Here are some pictures of the kids in their Valentines shirts.

All Better?

Over the past few weeks 1 of the 4 of us has been sick with something. A few weekends ago Eric got the stomach bug, the babies have had a bad cough (and have been throwing up from the cough), Mason had a double ear infection, and I have had mastitis and a sinus infection. I am ready for spring and the sick season to be over!!

Other than being sick, not much has been going on. I am getting ready for a Bridal Expo at the end of the month. So I have been ordering prints, designing flyers and enlisting the help of a friend to decorate my booth. I am also taking pictures at the Daddy/Daughter Valentine dinner at church on Friday. That should be super cute!
