summer is here!

and we are loving it.

summer is for swimming.

summer is for gardening and playing outside.

this picture requires the story. last week we were outside swimming and gardening and sawyer started screaming, "logan is about to get eaten by a snake." i went over and that big snake was slithering by her chair. not ok.

summer is for staying in jamies all morning and making big breakfasts.

summer is for playdates.

stepping stones

the kids last day of school was on wednesday. they could not have gone to a better school or had better teachers. they loved going to stepping stones and learned SO much. they loved both teachers and all of their school friends. i know they will miss going this summer. we have been so blessed for them to be a part of ss this past year and i am so grateful they will get to go again next year. here is a glimpse of their year.

school program

the kids had their first school program on monday. it was adorable. they did a great job singing and doing their songs. sawyer was a little nervous going in but went up there and did the whole thing!

they put together a book of the kids dreams done like eric carle. so cool. here are the kids with their pages.

here they are with their sweet teachers! we will miss them this summer and i am so glad they will get to have them for one more year!

check-ups

we survived the 2 month/4 year old check ups today. whew. each kid got 3 shots. the girls cried, the tough guy didn't. logan weighs 11 lbs, sawyer 35 lbs and mason 38 lbs. i guess it will be a while before we move to boosters! all three are doing great though and i am happy to have that over with.

2 months and more

wow it's been a while. can you tell i started back to work? it's been a little crazy around here.

logan is two months today.

we have been staying very busy... there have been birthday parties.

mothers day tea parties at school.

time with grandparents.

and aunt jaffy.

two trips to austin.

and just hanging out.

this is the last week of school. which means no more grocery shopping with one kid after this week :( but i'm looking forward to the swimming and snowcones and trip and fun playdates this summer!
