This weekend Eric cut Mason's hair for the first time (for Eric to do it). I thought he did a great job - it looks good and saved 20 dollars! Mason has started this new frowning thing that is super cute and he is kinda doing it in this picture.
The weather has been so weird lately, 70's one day and 98 the next. And it has been sooo windy, which is not so great for scheduling pictures by the way. But anyway, on the hot days we have been breaking out the water toys and popsicles!
trying to drink out of the sprinkler....
I took this picture this morning. She always wants to put on make-up and fix her hair like I do. Such a cutie!

We have been spending most of our time outside lately. The kids have been helping me trim branches and haul it out to the trash, weed the flower beds and plant new flowers.
we went to lowes and bought flowers, and found these cute kids chairs...
they ate lunch on the porch while i weeded...
they played in the pool while i planted and weeded. although i admit that was much better than when they decided to "help" me. "help" consisted of sitting in my lap, getting me very wet and then throwing dirt on me while trying to get it to the bag of weeds.
while we have been working outside they have been getting a lot more bumps and boo-boos. we are going to go through a lot of boo boo stickers this summer.
watching dora after playing hard. so sweet.
other random pictures from the last week...
i took pictures of all the kids classes at church on Sunday and got this one of the kids playing.
Have a great week and enjoy the wonderful weather!

It rained all weekend long so I have had some time to catch up on work (thanks to having to reschedule too many sessions), and some time to actually get some cleaning done. The kids have loved helping. I am so ready for them to be able to do chores!
Here is a short video of them singing at dinner. Which they do every night. Some nights it is Happy birthday, Old McDonald, The B-I-B-L-E, or other random songs. Silly kids.
This is what happens when these two are left alone for 5 minutes these days.... everything that was in the trash and a whole new role of toilet paper.
This weekend Aunt Jaffy sent them a present which they LOVED! THey are very into stuffed animals right now and they wouldn't let these turtles go for 2 days. Thanks Jenn :)

The bluebonnets are gorgeous this year! I took the kids out to this amazing field some of my clients told me about and they were completely uncooperative...but we still got a few cute ones.

Just a picture update...

We had a fun Easter Sunday. We went to church, had a quick lunch with family and then went over to Grandpa's (pop-pop) house to hunt Easter eggs. When I was growing up, I spent every Easter hunting eggs at grandpa and grandma's house so it was kinda neat to watch them hunt there too.
After naps we went out to the Groves for another Easter egg hunt before I had pictures and Eric had to go to work. But by then the kids were not interested in the eggs, they just wanted to play.
I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Hours of endless entertainment. The kids love to be outside. And they play so well together right now. One of their favorite games is to push each other around in their wagon. One of them will get in and the other will load all of the toys they can on top of them. Then they will push the wagon around, the one in the wagon will get out and say "bubby turn or sissy turn." It is so cute to watch them. They are always worried about each other getting a turn, or if one gets a cup they will make sure the other does too. I like that they are already watching out for each other. And I absolutely love how sweet they are too each other. They are always hugging and kissing on each other, and laughing together.
