pumpkins

we have been doing lots of pumpkin and halloween stuff this month. we have made pumpkin bread, pumpkin pudding, pumpkin shaped cupcakes, pumpkin jigglers.


we have made a couple of trips to the pumpkin patch.










they got to paint some pumpkins.






we made pumpkin, owl and leaf shaped cookies.




the kids even took a spooky bath with glow sticks.


we still have a couple more Halloween things left to do, but what are your favorite crafts/activities for this time of year? I would love suggestions!

acu homecoming

this past weekend was homecoming and i took two pictures. it was so busy! we went to the carnival and parade, but weren't at either very long. the kids soccer game was from 8:30-9:30 and the parade started at 9:30 across town. we made it there a little late but still got to see some of it.



other than that we just have spent time around the house playing.

there's a baby in your belly

yesterday sawyer told me, "mommy your tummy is starting to get big!" i wonder what kind of comments i will be getting in a few months!

game 4

sawyer scored her first goal on saturday at their game! this is a picture of coach michael giving her a hug after :)




during the game mason got a break away and another kid from their team ran up and kicked the ball away from him (they all try to kick it at the same time). mason got so upset. the lip came out and he put his arms out and went straight to sawyer for a hug. but she completely ignored him! he gave up and held her hand for a while to comfort himself. so sweet.

istre farm

the kids had their first field trip this past wednesday. they went out to istre farm. they got to watch a goat being milked, feed the animals, ride the horse, and eat some great pizza.
