Hours of endless entertainment. The kids love to be outside. And they play so well together right now. One of their favorite games is to push each other around in their wagon. One of them will get in and the other will load all of the toys they can on top of them. Then they will push the wagon around, the one in the wagon will get out and say "bubby turn or sissy turn." It is so cute to watch them. They are always worried about each other getting a turn, or if one gets a cup they will make sure the other does too. I like that they are already watching out for each other. And I absolutely love how sweet they are too each other. They are always hugging and kissing on each other, and laughing together.

Sunday we had our first Easter egg hunt of the year. They did even better looking for eggs this year than they did last year and we actually gave them some candy! Which they of coarse loved. All they said after that was, "bite, bite, bite." I think they are going to take after their mom and like sweets. After we got home they did not want to let go of their baskets and they spent the rest of the evening in the backyard playing with their eggs.

This week we got an awesome surprise package from some good friends of ours that are missionaries in Peru. They sent Mason and Sawyer some fun Peruvian jerseys!! I tried to get a good picture to send to them, but they would only make funny faces :)

The weather has been great lately and we have been spending lots of time playing outside! The kids love to be outside and I am so glad I spent all that time last summer making this play area. Work has been pretty busy lately with weddings and seniors and Easter sessions! Who knows how long it will be before I get caught up. I have also been very busy with My Sister's House! This week two of my friends are starting a women's consignment sale. So I have been gathering clothes for it and taking pictures for them. I also have a table set up there. So if you feel like shopping check out my table at the check out!

random picture post...

Mason makes this face all the time. It is hilarious. He is such a goofy kid. He loves to laugh. And anytime I laugh he starts laughing too.

Feeding the horses out at our friends new house.

we took the kids to chuck e cheese for the first time and they hated it.

I have been meaning to do an update for a while of what the kids are into and what they are doing right now so that I will have it to look back on. So here is what I can think of right now...

* They still take a nap in the afternoon from 1:30-4ish

* They love to sing. They can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Jesus Loves Me, ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider and a few others on their own. Granted they all run together sometimes. Lately Mason has been singing, "Jesus L-M-N-O-P, Jesus L-M-N-O-P." They constantly say, "Sing Mommy and Sing Daddy."

*Mason cracks himself up when he toots and tries to toot when you change his diaper. And when he does he says "i tooted."

*They (mostly Mason) love to run. They will chase each other around forever. If you say "ready go" they will run back and forth between two spots over and over. Mason loves to yell "i running fast" when he runs.

*They have just started saying mine last week. My cup, my toy, my turn.... MINE!

*They love to play with each other and read books aloud. They will sit at their table with bowls and spoons, and just talk the whole time while giving each other imaginary bites. It is adorable to watch.

*They love Pooh. I think it started with a Winnie the Pooh book and has grown into a full blown obsession. They love to watch Tigger and Pooh, they love the stuffed animals, books, anything with pooh.

*They love stuffed animals right now. Currently Mason has to have the puppy to sleep and Sawyer has to have Nemo (on top of her baby that she always has).

A few months ago I was talking to a friend of mine who has twins about a year younger than mine and she was asking me how I ever went to the store with the kids. So this post is for the twin mommies out there! It always fun to see what other people do :)

Going grocery shopping has had its challenges over the past 2 years and those challenges have changed pretty often. At first it was impossible to go to the store because I only had 30-45 minutes breaks between nursing. As they got a little older it got much easier. I started out with them in their carseats across the basket and I would just lift one up to put groceries underneath. Then it got even easier when they could sit in the seat with on leg bent and the other through the hole. Now it is harder again with them in the basket messing with all of the groceries. But even worse are the fits over wanting to be held, wanting in the basket or in the seat, or wanting the bag of frozen veggies the other has, etc!!

Notice Sawyer has to have a purse now...

I am sure this will change next year if they start a mothers day out program. I will make sure and go by myself!!

This weekend Lauren, Rachael and I met in Austin to hang out for a couple of days. It was SO great to see them and so much fun to see all of the kids together. My kids had never met Micah (Rachael's 3 month old) and WIlliam is only getting more fun as he gets older. Rachael's grandma is sick and so she didn't get to come the whole time, but I am so glad that she got to come late. Mason and Sawyer love babies, and loved playing with Micah and William. Those babies were well loved in this weekend.

We got to Austin Saturday and went to lunch. Then I dropped the kids off at Kim's apartment so that we could have some time without kids! Lauren had a Tastefully Simple party at her mom's house and it was so much fun to see her in action. I was surprised at how much of the stuff I liked. I got a bunch of new spices and some awesome beer bread. After the party Lauren left William with her mom and we went shopping and to eat dinner all by ourselves. It was a lot of fun to go out and not worry about hurrying and timing and all of that. Sunday was more church and hanging out with the kids.

Monday Rachael drove up. We hung out with the kids during the day and then watched the Bachelor season finale. We used to always watch it together in college and after so it was a lot of fun to do it again. I am ready to plan the next trip already!
